In 2005, CJ Foods acquired Annie Chun’s Inc., an all-natural brand, to broaden its portfolio of Asian food offerings. Annie Chun’s has an extensive product line-up of healthy and premium Pan-Asian flavors that include vegetarian, organic, and gluten-free options. Additionally, CJ Foods launched Bibigo in 2011 with the mission of introducing delicious and nutritious Korean food culture to the rest of the world.
Bibigo gets its name from a mash-up of Korean “bi-bi-da” (“to mix”) and English “to-go”, reflecting both its food and social characteristics, it seeks to play a leading role in demystifying the unique characteristics of Korean culinary culture, while introducing a variety of new, distinct flavors to the American palate.
